KINDNESS MAKES A MAN ATTRACTIVE

Proverbs 19:22

II Peter 1:5-7

With diligence add to your faith virtue, knowledge, self control, patience, godliness, KINDNESS and love.

Psalm 117:2

His merciful kindness is great toward us.

In the month of July TAC is endeavoring to do 500 RANDOM ACTS of KINDNESS (RAK) to encourage and promote Kindness from our congregation. Below are some benefits and ideas for RAK. Whether you choose to implement these particular ideas or allow them to
stimulate ideas of your own, we hope that you will be inspired to
take this challenge.

HEALTH BENEFITS

OF KINDNESS

Numerous scientific studies show that acts of kindness result in significant health benefits, both physical and mental. Here are some key points:
· Helping contributes to the maintenance of good health, and it can diminish the effect of diseases and disorders serious and minor, psychological and physical.
· A rush of euphoria, followed by a longer period of calm, after performing a kind act is often referred to as a “helper’s high.”
· Stress-related health problems improve after performing kind acts.
· Helping can enhance our feelings of joyfulness and can reduce the unhealthy sense of isolation.
· A decrease in both the intensity and the awareness of physical pain can occur.
· The health benefits and sense of well-being return for hours or even days whenever the helping act is remembered.
· Acts of kindness increases a sense of self-worth, happiness, and optimism, as well as a decrease in feelings of helplessness and depression.
