About Pastor Duncan The Antioch Church

Rev. Roy G. Duncan has been the Pastor of the great Antioch Missionary Baptist Church for 19 years. Through the leadership of Pastor Duncan and the direction of the Holy Spirit, the church has experienced significant progress spiritually, numerically and economically.

Since coming to Antioch, He has been instrumental in forming various ministries and services in the Palestine Community, the Nation and the World. He has been a Missionary locally, nationally and internationally. He is the Founder of the East Palestine Community Development, a Non-Profit Organization and The Berean Christian Academy, a Christian School and Day Care.

His educational background includes: Jacksonville Theological Seminary; he studied Business at Cedar Valley Community College; Christian Education at Dallas Baptist University, Southern Bible Institute and Dallas Theological Seminary, all of Dallas, Tx.

His community and professional affiliations have been numerous. He has served as Moderator of the Zion Hill Association. President of the Anderson County Community Relations Council Board of Directors; Sanctuary House Board of Directors (a homeless shelter), President of the Ministerial Alliance, Board of Directors of the YMCA, the American Red Cross and others not listed. He is the Founder of EPCD (East Palestine Community Development)/COC 501C3. He is a member of the Palestine Economic Development Commission (PEDC). Pastor Duncan also served in the U. S. Navy. Honorably discharged.

He is married to the former Yvonne Clewis, she is a dedicated servant as a Pre-K teacher of the Berean Academy. She is actively involved in the Women's Ministry, Children's Ministry, and Sanctuary Choir. She is the Leader/Advisor of a physical and spiritual wellness ministry at the Antioch Church.

Pastor Duncan and Sis. Duncan have 4 Children. Troy Duncan, (Stacia); Kevin Duncan, (Charlette); Alex Starr, U. S. Navy and Veronica Starr, a college students. They have 6 Grandchildren (Lauren, Jordan, Roland, Brandon, Chastity and Courtney.
